We are looking for a Sales Operations Manager who will report to the Global Head of Finance and the Global Head of Sales and will be instrumental in identifying and executing improvements to sales systems, processes, and training.

The Sales Operations Manager will think strategically and execute programmatically. A key part of the role will be to build relationships within the Sales organization, identify gaps and opportunities, and deliver the resources, tools, and assets the team needs to sell successfully. While the majority of the role will be traditional sales operations work, the role will also focus on advanced analytics, data, and planning. This role is best suited for a candidate with exceptional quantitative skills and a natural bias towards systems and operations. This role is a great fit for a self-starter who enjoys driving business impact and operational efficiency, can serve as an internal consultant and owner, and will have the opportunity for significant exposure and visibility across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systems and Processes
    • Select and implement technologies, including CRM, and processes to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness
    • Create and implement sales processes to promote accountability and ensure governance
    • Create collateral, train and support sales team on implementation of technologies and processes
    • Create and monitors compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data
    • Create and maintain CRM roadmap, including stakeholder alignment and communication
  • Reporting and Analytics
    • Develop comprehensive reporting relative to forecasting and actual results of pipeline, lead generation, revenue, client development, client growth/retention, and other KPIs
      • Build dashboards and management reports
      • Source relevant data sets
    • Manage and maintain accurate forecasting tools and processes
    • Highlight areas of over/underperformance and areas of concern
    • Assist sales in building prospect targets
    • Assist in go-to-market analysis with data-driven analyses
    • Monitor client performance, client usage comparisons, and overall trends
  • Sales Enablement
    • Coordinate preparation of sales materials with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Management
    • Ensure sales demos are accurate and up to date
    • Maintain strong internal relationships and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with all internal stakeholders
    • Ensure new and existing sales reps are onboarded and continuously trained; programs, coaching, training, and tools are in place to provide ongoing knowledge sharing, and learning and development
  • Quotas and Commissions
    • Supports the assignment of sales quotas and territories to ensure quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources
    • Collaborate with Finance to perform revenue forecast and commission calculations


  • 5 years+ track record in operations and analytical roles
  • Experience building a successful sales infrastructure from the ground up
  • Strong presentation and articulation skills for a senior audience
  • Skilled with CRM, Excel, and working with big data
